History
How the ministry began
Pastor Abraham Afolayan founded The Gospel of Grace International Ministry (Watercourse Sanctuary). The ministry was given under the authorship of our Creator, Almighty God, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, to declare the work of God, and to call on the world to reason with the Scripture under the Lordship of Christ Jesus's gospel.
The ministry operates under the guardianship of God Almighty — the Maker of all things and the Giver of life — in accordance with His wisdom, love, passion, and purposes.
What we do
The ministry serves the community, the nations, and the congregation of God through fervent prayer, thanksgiving, praise, the preaching of the word of God, and pastoral care and support services.

Founder & Principal Pastor
Pastor Abraham A. Afolayan founded The Gospel of Grace International Ministry (Watercourse Sanctuary) and serves as its Principal Pastor. Each month he brings a Pastor's Message from the heart — to the people of God, to the world, and to those who are not yet sure about what or whom to believe — reminding people of the benefits of knowing God and the importance of His word in uncertain times.

Love, Truth and Believe
Our crest carries the ministry's motto and its foundation verse: "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15).

Our Vision, Mission, Values & Beliefs
The vision is to lead all souls back to Christ, while our greatest achievement shall be to have our names in the book of life (Revelation 20:12–15) — and to also make it to the blessed supper of the Lamb of God, where we can all have a true fellowship with our Creator and dwell among the righteous.
The mission is to preach the Gospel according to the commandment of God (Isaiah 61:1–4), to teach the good tidings of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to ensure the promise of Revelation 1:6 comes into fulfilment. Our primary objective is to convert lost souls for Christ through the sharing of the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ and His greatest love for all sons and daughters of Man.
A church building is a place of gathering for true believers in Christ Jesus and Almighty God — to reverence and serve according to the purpose of God, and to worship the King of Glory in remembrance of His holiness. The purpose of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for man to be saved, for we believe that God is true and He liveth.
The goal of the ministry is to follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, the apostles and the prophets — to communicate the message of the good news of the love of God, the repentance of sin unto salvation, the everlasting mercies of God, the truth, the hope of glory, salvation, redemption, deliverance, the riches of grace, everlasting joy, and the end of glory through faith in Jesus Christ, to all people in the world.
Love
God is love, and His word communicates that love to us — it is the greatest commandment, shaping every action, practice and service to humanity.
Truth
The knowledge of the truth empowers us to teach the gospel of truth, grace and the everlasting gospel — freeing us from confusion, deception and bondage.
Belief
The mysterious power of belief fosters the revelation that God is true, and that Christ is the way, the truth and the life.
The Gospel of Grace International Ministry is a family-oriented ministry, committed to:
- Improving people's understanding by sharing biblical themes from a biblical perspective, encouraging people to pursue God's will for their lives.
- Producing and sharing powerful testimony that is relevant and impactful in people's lives.
- Developing, supporting and nurturing the next generation in the way of God, as ministers of His word.
- Working collaboratively with other ministries who share the same vision for God's purposes.
The Gospel of Grace International Ministry (Watercourse Sanctuary) believes in the Sovereignty of the Most High God — the one and only true God, the possessor of heaven and earth, the everlasting God and King of Glory. We believe our Heavenly Father holds supreme authority over faith and worship, eternal life and death, forgiveness of sin unto salvation, redemption, resurrection, judgment, mercy, grace and reward.
We believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit — in accordance with John 10:30: "My Father and I are one." We also believe that angels exist as messengers of God.
We hold to baptism as a commandment and gift from the Lord Jesus Christ, marking the beginning of a believer's relationship with their Maker and a move from a life of sin into newness of life. Once a year, we observe the Lord's Supper — the Communion of the Saints — in remembrance of Christ's last days on earth.
